ABOUT RAFFLES SAILING

Raffles Sailing was built in 2023 in South Sulawesi and has been operated since April 2025.

Raffles is a modern-classic Phinisi designed for private charter and sharing trips through the spectacular waters and scenery of the Indonesian archipelago.

Designed with an emphasis on space, privacy and comfort, Raffles features 6 spacious ocean-view private cabins spread across two decks, together with comfortable indoor and outdoor relaxation areas and dedicated dining spaces.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

RESERVATION & PAYMENT

• A minimum 50% down payment is required to secure the reservation.
• The remaining balance must be settled at least 7 days before the trip.
• The reservation is secured after the required down payment has been received.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

• Cancellation more than 4 months before the trip: 50% refund.
• Cancellation 2–3 months before the trip: 30% refund.
• Cancellation 1 month or less before the trip: no refund.
• The down payment cannot be returned or transferred to another date. Guests may arrange a replacement person, subject to approval.

FORCE MAJEURE

Cancellation or changes caused by natural disasters, severe weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations or other force majeure events may result in rescheduling or itinerary changes. No refund will be provided according to the applicable policy.

LATE ARRIVAL

Participants who arrive late at the meeting point and interfere with the scheduled travel time may be considered to have cancelled their participation. No refund will be provided.

RESCHEDULING

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled trip and are subject to availability.

ITINERARY CHANGES

For safety reasons, the itinerary may be changed due to natural conditions, severe weather, sea conditions, government regulations, National Park restrictions or decisions from port authorities.

RESPONSIBILITY

The boat operator is not responsible for flight schedules, flight delays, cancellations, damage or loss of baggage, hotel issues or other transportation problems outside the boat’s control.

The operator is not responsible for loss or damage to participants’ personal belongings during the trip.

Participants are responsible for any loss or damage to facilities or equipment provided to them and may be required to pay the appropriate replacement cost.

All participants must follow the instructions of the tour leader and crew throughout the trip and may not make unilateral decisions that affect the safety or operation of the trip.

Illegal drugs and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited. Participants who bring illegal substances or cause serious disturbance to other guests may be removed from the trip without any refund.

By booking the trip, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
